j elizabeth mascoli

my name is j elizabeth mascoli (she/her).  i'm a young adult living in boston, massachusetts.

currently i am attending boston college studying for a master's degree in social work and theology.  previously, i attended fordham university in new york city, where i received a dual bachelor's degree in political science and history.

after graduating from fordham i spent a year living in san antonio, texas, working with a wonderful team of immigration lawyers at texas rio grande legal aid, where we assisted migrant women seeking asylum in the united states.

after that, i spent a year living in cádiz, spain, teaching english in a secondary school.

i'm very glad to be back home in boston, doing what i am passionate for: studying and writing.  i hope to work in carceral social work in the future, as well as continue writing fiction and non-fiction.
