j elizabeth mascoli

My name is J Elizabeth Mascoli (she/her).  I'm a young adult living in Boston, Massachusetts.

Currently I am attending Boston College studying for a Master's degree in Social Work and Theology.  Previously, I attended Fordham University in New York City, where I received a dual Bachelor's degree in Political Science and History.

After graduating from Fordham I spent a year living in San Antonio, Texas, working with a wonderful team of immigration lawyers at Texas Rio Grande Legal Aide, where we assisted migrant women seeking asylum in the United States.

​

After that, I spent a year living in Cádiz, Spain, teaching English in a secondary school.  

​

I'm very glad to be back home in Boston, doing what I am passionate for: studying and writing.  I hope to work in carceral social work in the future, as well as continue writing fiction and non-fiction.
